Surrender

So what do you do when people do not act the way you think they should. What if you are in a situation which won't change and you feel you cannot get out of it. Where do you go, what do you do and how do you keep your sanity and self respect?

You surrender!

When you are in a  confrontation there are times when moving a person you out of your life is just not an option, as with a boss. You may not see eye to eye yet, for financial reasons. you must stay in the situation. When it comes to family members it may not feel comfortable to walk away and never talk to them again yet, there are times you wish you could.

Our family patterns reflect to us how we see love, unhealthy as it sometimes may be. None-the-less, this is the form in which we bring love to us.  One way to let go of the frustration of these toxic relationships is to surrender to them. In order to accomplish this you must let go. Here there is no space for ego. Ego shows up as the part of you which says I’m right, your wrong. Or, if I let you get away with this kind of thinking I am giving away a part of myself. That is simply not true. The way to get past this illusion is to step into present time. Ask yourself in this moment who am I. Have I changed because of their words? Probably not.

Look at it this way; if you surrender to another and let them have their way does it change you into a different person? No. Think about this person, have they ever seen a situation from your perspective. Has anything you said made them change their mind? If not, let it go of the expectation that they will change. Let them be who they are, with the way they see the situation and give them permission to have their perspective. This will free you from the cycle of frustration, stress and feelings of abandonment (or whatever your personal issue is which is tied to predicament).

Set yourself free, let them have their ideas, different as they are and step into your power. No one’s words or actions can change who you really are. You are a divine being of love and light. Being conscious in an unconscious world has its challenges, but remember you are an aspect of love so let “that” be your support as you move through life.
